The Largs Viking Festival 2018

The week long festival includes a wide variety of events.  There are music events, new foods to try, dancing and a complete Viking Village to visit. Town Twinning Games

During Easter 2019 Andernos will host the Town Twinning Games which will focus on encouraging young people from each of the communities involved to get to know each other and  exchange ideas and knowledge.  The groups will come from Andernos in France, Nussloch in Germany, Segorbe in Spain and from Largs and North Ayrshire in Scotland. What a Visit

Our friends from Andernos saw Scotland at its best this year. The sun shone all day every day and both visitors and guests took full advantage of the glorious weather. On the first night of the visit we all met together for a welcome drink in The Room. The Waverley and a few local pipers added to the perfect sunset. Christiane Cauet Takes Over

Town twinning in Andernos is run under the auspices of the English in Andernos which is a voluntary organisation formed to teach the English language in their community. Town twinning is an important aspect of their work and a new President of the organisation has been appointed. Christiane speaks good English and has been a member of EIA for many years.
