PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION POLICY
In conformity with the GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATIONS (GDPR) 2018 it is necessary that we inform you how we handle your personal data.
Upon becoming a member of LTTA, you provided us with your name and where relevant, the ages and gender of your children, home address, e-mail address, and telephone number.
You provide us with this information for the purpose of becoming a member of LTTA and receiving information relating to LTTA and its activities. We will only use this information for the purpose of communicating with you on matters pertaining to your membership of LTTA and events that we are running or have recently run. Specifically, the family details are held for the purpose of matching families for Twinning Exchange Visits.
We share your information as necessary amongst the committee members of the Association, and with others as is necessary for the organisation of twinning trips and visits but not with anyone else.
Personal Data collected will be held as long as you remain a member of the association, and for up to a year afterwards, with records being deleted from active lists at the next membership renewal cycle. We will not keep your personal data for any longer than is necessary. If your LTTA membership comes to an end, we will remove your personal data from our database.
